What are neuromodulators?

Neuromodulators, such as Dysport and Botox, are injectable treatments that temporarily relax targeted facial muscles to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

What areas can be treated?

Common areas include Forehead, Frown Lines, Crow's Feet, Bunny Lines, Lip Flip, Gummy Smile, Masseter (TMJ)

How long does the treatment take?

Most treatments take 10–20 minutes. You can return to your normal activities immediately after.

When will I see results?

You may begin to see results within 2–3 days, with full effects in about 7–10 days.

How long do the results last?

Results typically last 3 to 4 months. Regular maintenance treatments can help prolong the effects.

Does the treatment hurt?

Discomfort is minimal. Most patients describe the sensation as a small pinch.

Is there downtime after treatment?

There’s no required downtime. You may experience minor redness or swelling at the injection sites, which usually resolves quickly.

What should I do before and after my appointment?

Before: Avoid blood thinners (like aspirin or fish oil) for 2-3 days if possible.

After: Stay upright for 4 hours, avoid rubbing the area, and skip exercise for 24 hours.

Are there any side effects?

Most side effects are mild and temporary, such as bruising, swelling, or slight headaches. Rarely, patients may experience drooping of the eyelid or asymmetry, which typically resolves over time.
